Brief
For generations, natural Black hair was often judged by European beauty standards. Afros, braids, locs and other natural hairstyles were sometimes described as unprofessional, unkempt or inappropriate. Afro Day gives us a moment to celebrate that diversity, learn about the history behind it, and appreciate the people who continue to put forth with it. World Afro day’26
