PRIVACY & COOKIES.

What we collect, why we need it and the choices you have.

01

Who is responsible

StyleSociety is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@thestylesociety.nl. Before public launch, the registered legal name, address and registration number will be added here.

02

What we collect

  • Account details such as email address, name and login information.
  • Community and talent profile information, creative roles, biography, portfolio, measurements and availability you choose to provide.
  • Applications, motivations, RSVP responses and communications with our team.
  • Agency enquiries, contact details and production information.
  • Technical security information required to authenticate sessions and protect the platform.
03

Why we use it

  • To create and manage accounts, applications, castings, events and productions.
  • To assess community or talent applications and connect selected people to opportunities.
  • To answer enquiries and prepare or perform requested services.
  • To send transactional messages such as confirmations, invitations and production reminders.
  • To secure, maintain and improve the platform.
04

Legal grounds

Depending on the situation, processing is necessary to perform a requested agreement or take steps before one, to comply with legal duties, for legitimate operational and security interests, or based on consent—for example when work is published publicly. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

05

Who receives data

Access is limited to authorised StyleSociety team members and people who need information for a production. We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, Resend for transactional email and—only after analytics consent—Google Analytics for public website statistics. These providers process information to deliver their services. We do not sell personal data.

06

International processing

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards supplied by the provider.

07

How long we keep it

Information is kept only while it is needed for the account, application, production or enquiry, and afterwards only where required for legitimate administration, dispute handling or legal obligations. Public portfolio work can be unpublished earlier. A documented retention and deletion schedule will be activated before launch.

08

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Email your request to info@thestylesociety.nl. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

09

Cookies and analytics

The website uses strictly necessary authentication and security cookies. They keep you signed in, refresh your secure session and protect private areas. Their names can include a project-specific sb-…-auth-token. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

With your permission, Google Analytics measures public page views and a small number of completed actions. The Google tag remains blocked until you accept analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, admin pages, member dashboards or private call sheets. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled. You can accept, decline or change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Security and updates

Private records and files are protected by role-based database and storage rules. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We review this notice when the service or its providers change. Last updated: 24 August 2026.
